The decline in the Indian stock market continues. For the sixth consecutive day, the major benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were seen trading in the red. During this, the Sensex fell below 76 thousand, while the Nifty also fell below 23 thousand. The Sensex opened at 76,019.04 points with a decline of 274.56 points in early trade. Similarly, the Nifty slipped 78.45 points to trade at 22,993.35 points in early trade. However, the rupee rose by 26 paise to reach 86.53 dollars against the US dollar in early trade.
