Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty recently experienced a health setback and was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata. On Saturday, the actor experienced chest pain and uneasiness. The medical reports stated that the actor had symptoms of weakness in his right upper and lower limbs.
However, the latest reports suggest a positive turn in his health. According to an official statement released by the medical facility, Mithun Chakraborty is currently stable and showing signs of improvement.He has been described as fully conscious, well-oriented, and active during his recovery process. The actor has started consuming a soft diet too. He still has to go through some tests before discharge. The medical team is closely monitoring his progress and ensuring appropriate treatment.
In a gesture of solidarity, West Bengal BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar paid a visit to the veteran actor at the hospital.
Recently, Mithun Chakraborty was honored with the Padma Bhushan Award in January 2024, for his remarkable contributions to Indian cinema.
