Market starts Tuesday’s session in the green with #Nifty opening near 24,200 & #Sensex around 79,000
US stocks ended with steep losses on Monday, leaving the Nasdaq and S&P 500 down at least 3% each as the market extended last week’s sell-off amid U.S. recession worries and as Apple shares fell sharply on news that a big investor had cut its stake.

Tuesday morning’s action on the Sensex and Nifty would depend on how the US markets fare overnight. At the end of Monday’s trading session on Wall Street, the Dow Jones fell over 1,000 points, while the S&P 500 fell over 3%, registering their worst day since September 2022. The Nasdaq Composite too fell over 3.5%. Post the close of trade, the futures are seeing some bit of a bounce with the Nasdaq futures trading with gains of over 200 points, while the Dow Futures are also trading with a similar quantum.

For Tuesday’s trading session, stocks like Bharti Airtel, ONGC, Bharti Hexacom, Deepak Nitrite, BEML, HCC Brigade Enterprises, BLS International among others will react to their quarterly results, which were reported after market hours on Monday.
